"Flowers for spring? What a novelty."

¿Cómo lleváis el comienzo de la primavera? Ya, por fin, el solecito ha vuelto, y ojalá sea para quedarse. Aunque en Abril aguas mil, o la lluvia de Abril cabe en un barril. Ya veremos. La primavera es una estación donde el tiempo se vuelve algo loco: ahora hace frío, ahora calor… Se habla de la ropa de entretiempo como la solución para estos casos pero, ¿qué es la ropa de entretiempo?

Por eso, hoy he decidido traeros un outfit donde contrastamos temporadas, donde vemos que combinar una camisa y una falda midi que podríamos llevar hasta incluso en invierno, sí es posible. Un ejemplo para salvarnos esos días que no parece que sea primavera, y así combatir tanto el frío como el calor. La primavera es así, una caja de sorpresas.

How do you wear the beginning of spring? The sunshine has finally returned, and may it be to stay. Although in April thousand waters, or the rain of April fits in a barrel. We'll see. Spring is a season where time goes crazy: now it's cold, it's hot now ... We talk about half-time clothes as the solution for these cases but, what is the half-time clothes?

That is why today I decided to bring an outfit where we contrast seasons, where we see that combining a shirt and a midi skirt that we could take even in winter, if possible. An example to save us those days that does not seem to be spring, and thus combat both the cold and the heat. Spring is like this, a box of surprises.

Quiero empezar llevándoos a una cuestión, ¿por qué está impuesto llevar colores vivos en primavera?

¿por qué no usar colores oscuros también en esta temporada? No sé si os habréis dado cuenta pero en el outfit que llevo, no hay flores, ni colores vivos. Pero los estampados florales terminaron representando algún tipo de sinónimo para la primavera.

Si habéis visto la película “El diablo viste a la moda”, saben lo que el personaje principal, Miranda Presley, piensa al respecto… “¿Flores, para primavera?… Que novedad”. Independiente de solo ser una frase en una película de moda, es un factor muy cierto. El sol comienza a salir y lo primero que viene a nuestras mentes son las flores. Flores en los vestidos, flores en las faldas, y en algunas ocasiones hasta en los zapatos. No estoy diciendo que sea malo (porque a mi me encantan), pero creo que se ha convertido en un estereotipo de la moda para el clima cálido, es parecido a cuando decimos que solo podemos usar colores oscuros durante el invierno. A mi me encanta usar todos los colores durante todo el año, no te ciñas a lo que suena típico y viste como mejor te sientas en cada momento, sea la estación del año que sea.

I do not know if you have noticed but the outfit I wear is not according to spring, I don' have flowers or bright colors. But the floral prints ended up representing some kind of synonym for spring.

If you have seen the movie "The Devil Dress Up", you know what the main character, Miranda Presley, thinks about: "Flowers, for spring? ... What a novelty." Independent of just being a phrase in a fashionable movie, it's a very true factor. The sun begins to rise and the first thing that comes to our minds are the flowers. Flowers in the dresses, flowers in the skirts, and sometimes even in the shoes. I'm not saying it's bad (because I love it), but I think it has become a fashion stereotype for warm weather, it's similar to when we say we can only wear dark colors during the winter. I love to wear all the colors throughout the year, do not stick to what sounds typical and dress the best you feel in every moment.

Y centrándonos en mi, vemos un look donde la falda midi es la protagonista. Esta primavera apuesto por ella, con un largo que sobrepasa la rodilla y puede llegar a alcanzar el tobillo, donde únicamente deja un pequeño fragmento de nuestra piel al descubierto pero que lo sugieren todo. Son tan cómodas como una maxifalda y tienen mil formas de combinarla.

Están asociadas al estilo lady que marcó la década de los cincuenta. Las hay de muchos modelos, de altos vuelos, de silueta tubo, visiblemente acampanadas, plisadas... y rebosantes de la sensualidad al más puro estilo Marilyn Monroe.

And focusing on me, we see a look where the midi skirt is the protagonist. This spring I bet on her, with a length that surpasses the knee and can reach the ankle, where only leaves a small fragment of our skin exposed but suggest everything. They are as comfortable as a big skirt and have a thousand ways of combining it. They are associated with the lady style that marked the decade of the 50's. There are many models, high flights, tube silhouette, visibly flared, pleated... and brimming with sensuality in the purest Marilyn Monroe style.
